Girard Perregaux Dive Watches
One of the new watches presented by Girard-Prerregraux at BaselWorld 2013 is the elegant and classic 1966 Column-wheel Chronograph.
With a 40 mm diameter and thickness of 11.25 mm, it is made in pink gold with polished surfaces. It has two anti-reflective sapphire glasses, domed on the dial side and flat on the back.
At the end of 2012, Girard-Perregaux relaunched the Sea Hawk dive watch collection. The 1,000-meter water-resistant diver was updated with a rather progressive case design whereas still managed to keep the DNA of its impressive predecessors, one of them being the first dive watch with two helium release valves.
In 2012, Girard-Perregaux introduced a new collection of Sea Hawk watches that reinvented their classic high-performance dive watch. Because the debut of the collection, Girard-Perregaux has added a crowd of new models, but has also refined the collection properly. The most important area of improvement is how the watch wears on the wrist.
